Part II — Chapter 2: The Three Philosophical Principles
German & Latin
91–92hæc est igitur differentia & multiplex diversitas Lapidum & Tincturarum, omnes tamen ex uno Semine exque unica matrice generatæ sunt, unde genuinum opus universale itidem profluit, extra quam nulla præterea Tinctura Metallica adinvenire unquam potest, in omnibus inquam rebus, quomodocunque nominentur.
Dahero pro Regula infallibili zu halten; Daß kein außträglich particular / so nicht ex fonte universali gehet.
Candida Phoenix Philosophica: Part II — Chapter 2: The Three Philosophical Principles
91–92“Such, then, is the distinction and manifold diversity of stones and tinctures. Yet all are generated from one seed and one womb, from which the genuine universal work likewise flows. Outside that womb no other metallic tincture can ever be found in anything whatsoever, by whatever name it may be called.”
It must therefore be held as an infallible rule that no particular work is profitable unless it proceeds from the universal source.
