Aphorismi Urbigerani: Diotimos Contextual Lexicon
p. 187Reflective possibility: A practice can be reconsidered by asking what its achievements are ultimately for. The answer may change which successes appear sufficient and which responsibilities remain. This is a possible reflective use of the ending, not a replacement for its specifically biblical hope. The historical conclusion asks readers to direct their endeavours beyond immediate effects; a modern response can acknowledge that claim while openly stating its own standpoint.
